The folks over at Arrowhead just released a patch for Helldivers 2 and The notes are pretty interesting. We all know that Helldivers 2 was a surprise to all of us, even the guys over at Arrowhead were shocked at the fact they have sold around three million copies of the game and it is topping the charts on steam. Now on to the updates. Sadly the Mech’s haven’t been introduced yet but they are coming Helldiver, I promise. Arrowhead have introduced a major update that involves environmental hazards. We are no strangers to some of the environmental hazards already in the game. But none of us will be ready for on coming Meteor showers and Tornadoes of pure fire.
This is honestly going to go really bad for a lot of Helldivers if they aren’t careful, but I can already see the beautiful memes and destruction just waiting to be shared. Along with this major update they have introduced some balancing of weapons and stratagems. The biggest balancing fix I can see making the Meta boys sad involve the Railgun and the Energy shield backback. The Railgun has decreased armor penetration and decreased damage against durable enemy parts. While the Energy Shield backpack has a bigger delay while recharging.
There are also a bunch of other fixes such as Armor rating not working, Bug holes not blowing up when a grenade has been thrown inside and Camera no longer locking to your own corpse in spectator mode.
Are you looking forward to what Helldivers2 has in store? Let me know!
